SOFT TISSUE THERAPIST

I have been a Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist (Soft Tissue Therapist) since 2006.

As a dancer for over 30 years, I have found Sports & Remedial Massage Therapy (Soft Tissue Therapy) extremely beneficial both in preventing and recovering from injuries.

After sustaining many various injuries throughout my dance career I decided to study Sports & Remedial Massage Therapy so that I could help others recover from injury and carry on with their love of sport, dance and general fitness.

I trained at the renowned London School of Sports Massage (LSSM) with Mel Cash where I gained a Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage. I also studied Craniosacral Therapy (CST) at the Upledger Institute, Sports Thai Massage at NLSSM and Qi Gong Therapy techniques with Paul Cavel, senior teacher of Bruce Frantzis' Energy Arts, an authentic Taoist Master lineage holder from China that is unbroken for over 2500 years.

Upon qualifying I was the principle masseur for two dance companies before setting up my own Central London clinic in the renowned Neal’s Yard Remedies Therapy Rooms in Covent Garden.

Having both a personal and therapist’s perspective on injuries has deepened my understanding of the musculoskeletal system and what the body needs to rebalance and repair itself.

The background of my clients is as varied as their injuries and range from professional athletes, dancers, iron man competitors, marathon runners, office workers, actors/actresses, and the general public.

My approach generally involves combining techniques such as Sports And Remedial/ Deep Tissue Massge Therapy (Soft Tissue Therapy), Energy Work, Craniosacral Therapy (CST), Qi Gong Therapy and Sports Thai Massage to create bespoke treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of my clients.
